Motor Repairs
At Surgeson Electric, we take pride in skillfully repairing motors of all shapes, sizes, and applications, and returning them to our customers looking like they're brand new.
We service both AC and DC motors, and are well equipped to provide surge testing, rewinds, overhaul, dynamic balancing, troubleshooting and general servicing.
Honesty and integrity are at our forefront as well; if the motor is beyond repair, or the job estimate is greater than the cost of a new motor, we will happily help you to find a replacement.
Motor Rewinds
If you're faced with faulty or burnt winding, our rewind specialists are ready to help.
Using inverter duty copper wire and class F & H insulation materials, our technicians will skillfully rewind, dip, and bake motors of all sizes to have them running like new.
Motor Overhaul
Sometimes the best way to diagnose a problem is to take everything apart, clean it up, and put it all back together in better condition than it was before.

That's what we do! We'll even give it a nice finishing paint job - it'll look like it came right from the manufacturer.
Machining
Every so often, a motor or pump repair will require a custom part or adjustment. Whether it be an end bell, a shaft, or a custom piece, our machinist can create and achieve the exact fit needed with utmost precision.
Pump Repairs
Our skilled technicians are well versed in the world of industrial pump repairs, and are able to offer general servicing, trouble shooting, rebuilds and overhaul.
On-site vibration analysis
& balancing
Some units are just too large to bring in to our shop, but we can accommodate! We can ensure that your motors and fans are working at optimal levels by offering on-site vibration analysis, balancing, alignment and surge testing.
